Prescriptions, by consultation.

We stock approximately 220 single herbs in our wooden cabinets. Most are loose-leaf, weighed by hand, packed in paper sleeves for the patient to take home and decoct.

Herbal prescriptions are written after a consultation. We do not sell complex prescriptions over the counter without one. Single herbs (ginseng, dang gui, longan, chrysanthemum) and patent medicines are available for walk-in purchase.

A typical decoction prescription is for 5 to 14 days; cost ranges from SGD 40 to SGD 120 depending on what's in it. We'll teach you how to decoct at home; if you don't want to, we offer a pre-cooked decoction service at SGD 6 per packet.

For patent medicines (pills, powders, granules, plasters): we stock the brands we trust. We don't stock everything that exists in the wider market; some products we've declined to carry for quality reasons.
