Husband + wife. Third restaurant.

Beancurd & Bird is the third restaurant from a husband-and-wife team who previously ran a hawker stall in Bedok and a 14-seat omakase counter in Telok Ayer.

The menu is small on purpose. Eleven dishes at any time. Three rotate monthly. We do not chase trends; we cook what's in season at Tekka and what our kitchen team is excited to put up that week.

We do not list awards on the website. If you want to know what we're proud of, come eat.

The first restaurant was a hawker stall in Bedok, 2014-2018. We learned how to feed people quickly. The second was a 14-seat omakase counter in Telok Ayer, 2018-2020. We learned how to feed people slowly. This is the third. We're trying to do both.
